Responsibilities:

• Lead the package engineering team in the design, testing, and implementation of innovative packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure that packaging designs meet functional, cost, production, and sustainability criteria.
• Drive the adoption of new packaging technologies and materials that enhance product value and consumer experience.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet department and business objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team innovation and efficiency in packaging processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and sustainability practices affecting packaging.
• Mentor and develop team members, setting performance goals and supporting career growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within packaging development.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering innovative packaging solutions.
• Strong technical skills in packaging design software (e.g., CAD, ArtiosCAD).
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience in project management, with a demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and budgets effectively.
• Deep understanding of materials science and its application in sustainable packaging solutions.
